It started as a 10 minute play in 2nd year college, as part of a mentorship program made available to the students of CCPA. We had around 4 months to complete a 10 minute piece that would then be mounted in front of an audience in a cold read format. Since then, it has sat dormant on my computer until about 2 months ago when I started writing again. It's changed a lot, as has my focus begun to shift more to film, the piece feels more and more like a screenplay as opposed to a staged production every time I add to it. Which brings me to my dream, I want to finish this with the help of an editor/dramaturge and begin the process of producing and directing the film. I'm learning more about these things every day but they are still very foreign and intangible subjects to me. I have lots to learn and am ready to learn it!
