Maths - by Fenti
So in preparation for possibly going back to school, I enrolled in Math 11 to get my marks up to university standards. Well, Math 11 turns out to be harder than I remembered. I'm looking for an reasonably priced, algebra tutor in the Vancouver area. I also in the market for a used graphing calculator.

It's been a while since I've written anything. On this blog or anywhere for that matter. I'm feeling it right now though and I wanted to share my progress toward working in conservation. Since my last post I did not complete math 11 and I didn't enroll in BCIT, but a heck of a lot has happened...
I lived in Costa Rica for a bit and helped collect behavioural data and noninvasive samples from wild capuchin monkeys. I had the chance to get some more field work under my belt here and I met some great friends, (one of whom I would later marry).
I also went back to Uganda--this time as a field director for an NGO that supports conservation education. I gained a lot of experience working in environmental education and met the many challenges of working in a developing country.
I have since moved to NJ to start start a new chapter in my life with my talented partner while she attends graduate school. I get a lot of joy out of teaching environmental education to school-aged children for New Jersey Audubon. On the side I have been learning how to pilot UAV (drones) and have been learning about their applications for wildlife conservation. Oh, and we spent a field season in Kenya working with wild baboons, which was an amazing experience.
I often think about Dream Networks and how I would love to see it flourish again one day. I believe when the time is right the idea will come into its own, whether it's in the form of this website or another way, it know it will happen and I want to help people realize that if they put their mind to it, they can accomplish anything.
Peace and love, J.
